Ferrous EDTA helps to prevent major as well as minor micronutrients deficiencies at any stage of crop. Fe EDTA can be used on wide range of soil pH (4.0 – 8.0) to prevent permanent deficiencies. Fe EDTA is chelated by special chelating agents and hence uptake of Iron is more compared to conventional sources. Due to chelating agent these elements are slowly available to the plants for a longer period. Fe EDTA can be used through drip irrigation as well as through foliar applications to correct deficiencies.
